"Sonic & Knuckles" Match[]

Matchup[]

Winner[]

Results[]

The first match Sonic has had since his return gets off to a flying start, with both competitors giving it their all. Sonic using his speed to outmaneuver his opponent, whereas Knuckles uses his raw power to make sure that every hit he lands hits hard. The two seem totally even as the match goes on, Sonic seems to pull ahead when he gets off a Spin Dash against the echidna, but decided to expose Table-san instead of pressing the attack, allowing Knuckles to recover and  it does take long after for Knuckles to answer back with a KO punch, before soon after using the Fist-Metal Crackle to make Sonic bleed. Sonic is able to get back up, and replies with a DDT, leaving Knuckles bleeding too. With both men showing signs of their fight, Knuckles starts to pull ahead, landing a comeback followed by another KO punch/Fist-Metal Crackle combo, seeming to put Sonic away, but Sonic doesn't go down, simply keeping going and taking the abuse from Knuckles as he starts getting in one or two moves of his own, hoping to wear him down. As both of them trade blows, Knuckles seeming to be gaining more and more an advantage, it seems like Sonic has one chance to win, as he uses the last of his strength to lift Knuckles in the air, and then slams him to the ground, keeping him there for the three count, and winning the exhorting match.

Other Plot[]

Sonic and Knuckles show no hard no feelings toward each other as Knuckles raises Sonic's hand into the air before leaving him to celebrate. Meanwhile, Nappa and Flint confront Gabe Newell and Adam Jensen in their office, both teams knowing fully well what they're after; the remaining Dragon Balls. A match is then agreed between them to decide who gets them, with Nappa joyfully shouting his joy at the outcome.

"Winners takes Balls" Tornado Tag-Team Match[]

Matchup[]

Winner[]

Results[]

With so much on the line, the teams pair up, Nappa taking on Jensen and Flint fighting Gabe. The fight seems to show both teams at their best, as Nappa and Gabe focus on using scoop slams against their opponent, whereas Flint and Jenson trying to keep up as best they can. Nappa moves outside to strip Table-san, causing Jensen to follow, leaving them to now do battle outside of the ring. Nappa gets Jenson un her, but Gabe sees his plan, and whips Flint in corner to prevent him from jumping, allowing Jensen to get back off. However, Napps is determined, as he gets Jensen on her again, and this time Flint is able to keep Gabe busy while he jumps, forcing his weight onto Jensen and breaking Table-san. Nappa quickly moves to try and get Jensen to submit, but Gabe is able to rescue hs partner before he taps. When Gabe returns to the ring, Flint starts to fight back, using a Power Smash t inflict damage to the GM, and start to pull away, as an elbow to Gabe's head makes him bleed. With both Flint and Nappa seeming in control, Nappa returns to the ring with Jensen, and starts pushing him back into the corner over and over, before delivering a slam to the ground, putting Jensen out as is pinned for three, followed almost instantly by Flint a DDT to Gabe, who is also able to get the three count, and winning the match, and the dragon balls.

Other Plot[]

Backstage, Nappa is ecstatic that they have managed to collect the Dragon Balls and thanks Flint for his help, with Flint humbly downplaying his role, yet feeling glad that Nappa will get his friend back. Flint then tells Nappa to take the Dragon Balls somewhere safe and make his wish undisturbed while he makes everyone think he is in possession of them.

"Battle for the Midcard" 30-Minute Iron Man Match[]

Matchup[]

Winner[]

Tie 5-5

Results[]

The battle for the Midcard, the battle the fans have demanded for so long, gets under way. Both men seem determined to not lose, as they seem eager to taunt one another as the match goes on. Scorpion seems to have the advantage, able to damage Red's ribs early on, but Red soon attacks back with a spin kick, letting blood flow from the Ninja's face. Red then focuses on jump attacks from the ropes, but a mistimes jump allows Scorpion to get off a facebuster, making Red bleed too. Red recovers, and is able to land a Giga Impact on the Ninja, and scoring the first pin in just before the ten minute mark. Scorpion recovers, and once again brings the fight to Red, but a sudden reversal to a whip leads to Red letting lose a spin kick, knocking Scorpion down to get another pin, increasing his lead. Down by two, Scorpion goes on the attack, inflicting enough damage so that a Superkick to Red's face takes him down, and lets Scorpion take a point back at around the halfway mark. He continues the assault, taking the fight to Red outside the ring, before landing another Superkick to take it to two all three minutes later. It seems like Scorpion is in control, but a sudden run attack by Red is able to knock Scorpion down, and Red once again pulls ahead barely thirty seconds later. Red seems determined to keep his lead, escaping a pin by rolling out of the ring, but Scorpion follows, and smashes Red's face against the steps, doing tremendous damage before returning him to the ring. With Scorpion in control, Red seems to pick his moments carefully, taking advantage of an grapple to deliver an elbo to the face, before using another Giga Impact to get another pin. At 4-2 with less then eight minutes to go, Scorpion is in trouble, as both men seem to be on the attack, looking for an opportunity to get an advantage over the other. Scorpion is able to take it first, scoring a Superkick once again, and gaining the pin with less then five minutes to go. At this point, maybe somewhat overconfident, Scorpion seems to try and put on a show, preforming three moonsaults before doing two jump attacks from the rope, by that point however, red knows what to expect, rolling out of the way at the last second, and then delivering a Giga Impact, taking it 5-3, with four minutes to go. Scorpion then seems to uses his jumping attacks as best he can, using the rope over and over to try and take down Red as much as possible, before using another Superkick, taking it 5-4 with under two minutes left. Scorpion puts in as much as he has left, as he tries eagerly to get one last pin, but Red will not give up, showing his shear determination to keep going. With thirty second left, Scorpion hits red with a Spin Kick, followed by a swinging neckbreaker to go for a pin, but Red kicks out once more, simply not letting it happen. With the time ticking down, Scorpion moves to the only thing he has left...A custom finisher...the one move that had always let him down. Garbing Red's face, before letting off a back fire. Ten, nine, eight, seven, Scorpion drags red towards the centre of the ring. Six, five, Scorpion places his body on top, and holds Red down once final time. Time seems to slow down, the crowd watch on as the Ref slowly lowers himself, and starts to count. The sound of his hand seems to echo around the arena, as the words “One, Two, Three.” flow out, giving him the pin. As Red and Scorpion stand back up, the bell rings, ending the match as the crowd goes wild. 5-5 at the very last moment, a transcendent moment, both men proving that they were not the King of the Midcard, but both were the Kings of the Midcard.

Casual Championship Match[]

Matchup[]

Winner[]

Result[]

With the title on the line, both men go all out, a tremendous back and forth between the pair, with no man seeming to grab control. As the match goes on however, Barret starts to push ahead, keeping Segata Sanshiro at bay, landing several big moves on his opponent. As soon as he looks about to take full control however, Segata is able to let off a comeback, against Barret, followed closely by a Rings of Saturn. Despite this, Barret presses on, making his opponent bleed from a facebuster, but Segata slowly starts to work it back, every move Barret does seeming to be met with a reply. Once Barret is forced out of the ring, the fight moves outside, as Barret gets off a limit break, but being outside, is unable to pin him, and is also seemingly unable to return Segata to the ring. Segata uses the space he has to push Barret against the wall and deliver a head-butt, and with that move, seems to take control of the match, not giving Barret a chance to fight back. Barret replies by pull him into a roll, leading to the pair ObamaRolling, each man not giving up. Once broken, Segata lets out another Rings of Saturn, only to be countered by a Catastrophe soon after, followed by a comeback from Barret, but doesn’t follow it up with his signature, instead trying to go for a pin. When that fails, Segata pulls him into another ObarmaRoll, once again causing the pair to jostle for position. Barret escapes, but soon receives a kick to the head that causes him to bleed. With both men now very badly hurt, Segata uses one final move, a powerful suplex that throws Barret to the canvas, finally putting Barret down for three, and retaining his belt.

Matchup[]

Team America VS. GameCenter FU (Champions)

Winner[]

Result[]

After both of Team America enter the ring, GameCenter FU decide to play it oldschool, with the AVGN coming out to his old theme, and Arino using his first entrance. Duke and AVGN start off, the pair being almost completely even as they do battle, matching blows and reversals almost perfectly. Duke tags out to bring Guile in, who’s freshness seems to give him the edge as he takes the fight to James. The AVGN replies by managing to set up a double team, bring Arino into the fight. Arino seems to have the slight advantage, as she iis able to let off a set of kicks, and then get enough space to escape outside, and strip Table-san. This seems to anger Guile, who takes his frustration out on the Ref, slamming him to the ground. The fight returns inside, trading blows, before Guile is thrown out of the ring again, Arino clearly aiming to put him on Table-san. Arino only hits the corner of her however, letting Guile throw him back in the ring before grabbing the AVGN, and placing him on the table, aiming to put him through as Duke prevents Arino from stopping him. At the last second however, James is able to counter, leading to him being able to send Guile through her. Once both Arino and Guile return to the ring, Guile fights back, trying to recover from the damage, only to be hit by a Last continue. Realising things aren’t going his way, he tags Duke in, only for another last continue to knock him down. Down but not oiut, Duke continues fighting, trying to work his team back in, an elbow to the face making Arino bleed, as Duke attacks over and over again, even jumping from the ropes to inflict pain. He moves Arino into a submission hold, but James quickly ruins in to break it up, allowing Arino to escape, and tag James in, who quickly is knocked out of the ring by Duke. Once outside, James and Arino work together, whipping duke against the arena walls, before knocking his head against the ring post. The AVGN follows him back into the ring, twice reversing Duke’s attacks into a pin attempt, but isn’t quite able to take Duke down for three. With this in mine, James decided to attempt a spear, moving Duke towards the barricade. Guile moves to stop him, whipping James back into the ring, but Arino keeps Duke in place, allowing James to continue his plan. After tremendous back and forth, James moves Duke into position, only to suddenly be attacked by Guile, who manages to get James against the Barricade instead. Guile whips James away, trying to make space, but Arino is there to catch him, allowing James to recover, Whip guile back, and then spear him through. With Guile horridly damaged, James returns Duke to the ring, before using his Powerglove for one last attack, Slamming him to the ground, and keeping him down for three, retaining the belts for GameCenter FU
