Ridley is a recurring antagonist in the Metroid series and a wrestler in VGCW.

In the Metroid FranchiseEdit

Ridley is a giant winged space alien and the leader of the Zebes space pirates. Ridley has managed to be repaired, rebuilt, reborn and resurrected innumerable times throughout the Metroid games, but never for long as Samus Aran is always around to kick his ass. Except for his particularly notorious appearance in Other M when the mere sight of him causes Samus to have a massive PTSD attack, despite the fact that she had managed to kill him multiple times before without breaking a sweat.

Ridley's characterization in VGCW does not actually come from any of the Metroid games. It was created by Let's Player Slowbeef during his LP of Metroid: Prime when Ridley made goofy jazz-hands during a boss fight. The characterization was made popular during Slowbeef's videos making fun of Other M as part of his retsuprae channel.

Ridley is also notable for being too big to get into Super Smash Bros.. Or not.

Season 12: Too big for wres Edit

Ridley debuted when the World Tour took a trip to Japan. Ridley's bigness caused panic and fear in the crowd, as he crushed their hometown-hero, Chief Arino. Ridley's second match was against VGCW Legend and fellow BIG wrestler, Donkey Kong. The Big Monkey was too big for Ridley and he ended up eating his first loss. Ridley's third match was against Groose in the first round of the King of the World tournament. Ridley took serious amounts of damage during this match but Groose somehow managed to put him away.

Shortly thereafter, Bowser made the bold claim that he was the biggest monster on VGCW. Ridley of course did not take kindly to this and the two settled the dispute in the only way in which VGCW knows how to settle disputes: a big match at the biggest show of the season, End Game X2. Bowser was the favorite going in, being a proven deliverer of big matches and big victories, but Ridley proved too big even for Bowser. With this victory it is now official that Ridley is the biggest in all VGCW.
