About[]
The WVGCW Championship (Formerly known as the Gurl Gamer Championship) is the third belt spanning all VGCW shows, and is the main belt of WVGCW, formerly the VGCW: Female Division.
After many requests from members of the audience, VGCW's manager at the time Bazza decided to start a female division since men and women are unable to fight each other in WWE '13. The first matches were held on 2012-12-15 as pre-show to the male matches, with a full show spinning off when BRYN took over the duties of production.
The WVGCW Championship is the main championship for the Women's side of the VGCW universe similar to the VGCW Championship for the male side.

Champions[]
The Boss[]
The first Gurl Gamer Champion that was given the belt on default.
The Boss went on to retain her title against Princess Peach on the 2012-12-15 show. On the first day of 2013, she retained her title against Cammy in a controversial match in which Cammy won by Count out, however The Boss retained her title through Champions Advantage. This caused many fans to believe that The Boss was a Paper Champion and added some emotion to the VGCW Diva's Division.
Princess Zelda/Sheik[]
Sheik won a 6-woman #1 contenders match on 2013-01-06 after pinning Jessie. She later defeated The Boss for the title as Princess Zelda.
Carmen Sandiego[]
On 2013-01-13, Carmen Sandiego won a Six-Woman Battle Royal after pinning Lara Croft. She became champion on the same night after pinning Sheik.
There was a theory among the VGCW universe that Carmen had stolen the belt after her victory against Sheik. In fact, there hadn't been one VGCW Diva's contenders match for the title since her victory over Sheik. Some even believed that the belt was gone forever.
On 2013-02-01, Bazza stepped in to resolve the issue. He officially stripped Carmen Sandiego of the title due to Carmen's "No Show" attendance. And a new belt was made.
Cammy Whie[]
Cammy still had her sights on the title after losing her title chance from The Boss weeks ago. She finally won the title by winning a Six Woman Hell in aCell match on 2013-02-01. Due to the division's hiatus throughout The Great Tournament, Cammy was able to maintain the title for 70 days without defending it once.
Poison[]
Poison won a 4-woman battle royale match to become #1 contender for Cammy's title on 2013-04-06. Despite many (including Cammy) being against Poison competing in the woman's division, she was able to pin Cammy to become the new Gurl Gamer Champion. A tournament was held to determine a #1 Contender to her title, a tournament won by newcomer Princess Daisy. Poison would manage to defeat Daisy however, becoming only the second wrestler in WVGCW to defend her title successfully.
Carmen Sandiego (2)[]
Following her reemergence on June 6th, Carmen Sandiego was granted a Champion Vs. Champion Match for the Gurl Gamer Championship by the GM in order to claim back the original belt she had stolen. Carmen would manage to pin Poison and steal the new belt become the first wrestler to hold the Gurl Gamer Championship twice.
Ivy Valentine[]
Ivy Valentine won a 6-woman battle royale and a singles match to become the #1 Contender for Carmen's title on July 17th. Pulling off what many considered an upset, Ivy would end Carmen's undefeated streak and become the Gurl Gamer Champion. She would show that she was a force to be reckoned with by defeating fan-favourite Terra Branford in a Non-Title Last Woman Standing Match on September 3rd.
Lightning[]
Lightning would manage to claim the very first Ms. Money in the Bank contract on June 6th. After being forced to cash-in by Carmen in order to remain undercover, she would manage to successfully cash-in her contract to defeat Ivy Valentine, who, after beating Terra Branford, was assaulted by the Damsels of Distress, and become the new Gurl Gamer Champion.
On October 4th however, she selflessly vacated her Reign as champion, technically making her the only Gurl Gamer Champion to remain undefeated throughout her reign.
Terra Branford[]
On October 4th, Ivy Valentine demanded her title back from Lightning. However, Terra Branford intervened and stated that Ivy should have to fight to claim the Gurl Gamer Championship, and asked that she fight her. Lightning agreed, and a title match was granted. Terra, not holding anything back, transformed into her Esper Mode and defeated Ivy, taking her place as the final Gurl Gamer Champion of Season 2. However, she used The Glitch Bomb to defeat Ivy, and with it being public knowledge...
VACANT[]
On the debut episode of Season 3, the new Head Saint in Charge, The Saint, stripped Terra of the title due to her using the banned Glitch Bomb and her Esper form. However, The GM then offered a resolution...
Terra Branford (2)[]
Right after vacating the title, The Saint gave both Terra and Ivy a chance of becoming the Gurl Gamer Champion by declaring a rematch in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match to declare the True Champion. On December 5th, Terra would show her tenacity as she managed to climb the ladder and grab the belt in under five minutes, becoming the second wrestler in the Female Division to win the Championship twice.
Ayla[]
Ayla earned an opportunity to win the title on January 11 by beating Chell and Tifa Lockhart in a Triple Threat Match. She would later face Terra, surprisingly, at VGCW's End Game 6 in a Best 2/3 Falls Match. Ayla won 2-0 and became Gurl Gamer Champion. At Breakdown 2/3, Ayla defended her title against Bayonetta in another Best 2/3 Falls Match, winning 2-1. She would defend the title for a second time on May 30th against former champion Ivy Valentine, shortly after Ivy had been attacked backstage by Chell.
Chell[]
Ayla herself named Chell the #1 Contender following Ivy getting booed out of the show altogether. Their match would be a 20 minute Iron Woman Match scheduled to happen at Breakdown 4. Chell hit hard and fast, and managed to finish with a final score of 7-4. This victory combined with her retention of the Co-Op belt made her WVGCW's first holder of two titles at once.
Cate Archer[]
After spending most of Season 5 boasting about how she will be the next champ, and then backing up that boasting with an impressive win streak, Cate was granted a 1v1 match with Tifa Lockheart for the #1 Contendership. Cate was able to beat Tifa, locking her in for a match with Chell at Breakdown F.I.V.E.. Chell was weaken from her failed defense of the Co-Op belt earlier in the night and fell to Cate's offense.
Jade[]
Jade started off Season 06 by calling out Cate on all over her boasting, an act that would set the two up in a feud that would only end with a title match. Jade was granted that match after a hard fought win over Lucina, followed by a victory over Lightning with the contendership at stake. Jade would fight Cate on 2015-06-19. Cate game was off that night; Jade managed to claim the belt and end Cate's 14-Month winning streak.
Cate Archer (2)[]
Cate came back after her defeat to announce to Jade and the VGCW Universe at large that she had U.N.I.T.Y. agents sneak a "rematch clause" into her contract allowing her to fight Jade for the belt again. This was quite upsetting to many fans, and management was quick to remove this part of the contract. But the match was still on for Breakdown 06. Cate managed to pin Jade, and Rydia did not make good on her threat to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
Chie Satonaka[]
By virtue of winning the inaugural WVGCW Royal Rumble at Breakdown 06, Chie found herself as the #1 contender against Cate at the upcoming Chamber of Elimination PPV, though she would also end up facing competition in the form of Jill Valentine, who, courtesy of newly-appointed GM Lightning, earned a spot in the title match after beating Cate in a non-title match on October 2nd, 2015 to make the contest a Triple Threat. Despite being the underdog heading into the match, Chie found an opening after double-teaming Jill and then before Cate could capitalize, hit her with a catapult Galactic Punt while Jill was down for the 3-count and the title.
After Chie won, Jill would attempt to earn another shot at the title, only to lose the contender match to Lara Croft, leading to Lara and Chie facing off at the first Splat Wres in a 2/3 falls match. Lara started in control, being able to put Chie through Table-san, but Chie managed to get her comeback off, and follow up with a Galactic Punt to score the first fall. Lara quickly replied with a Pickaxe Handle and a IKT to bring it back 1 all. From that point on, Chie managed to take control of the match, and after a long fight, managed to use a God's Hand to keep Lara down for the three count, and in doing so became the first Champion to defend the title since Ayla. For her next defence she agreed to fight Sindel at Breakdown 777... however, this was changed at the last-minute to Chie defending her title against Kitana, who had conquered her own personal Challenge Tower to become the #1 Contender by defeating her own mother to do so. Once again Chie would have to overcome a ferocious challenger by defeating the Edenian princess by 2 falls to 1. Her third and most recent defence came at the Royal Rumble PPV the following season against The Boss, this time being a 2/3 Falls Submission Match, The Boss' specialty match type. Despite falling behind and her back being against the wall, Chie would utilise the Dragon Sleeper to pull it back before managing to somehow power out of a Cobra Vice and into another Submission of her own for the victory at two falls to one once again, becoming the most successful WVGCW Champion of all time in the process.
Lucina[]
Nothing lasts forever, however. Lucina, a former EDBW Women's Champion and WVGCW Co-Op Champion, was able to take full advantage of the new stipulation installed by the General Manager, eliminating the most entrants in the Royal Rumble to bag herself a #1 Contenders Match against the Royal Rumble Winner herself, Aqua, which she did. At her first attempt of asking, Lucina ended Chie Satonaka's record-breaking reign at 434 Days and 3 Defences by defeating her in a 20-Minute Iron Woman Match with a score of 5-4, becoming the first EDBW Graduate to win the major championship, and the first person in history to win both the EDBW Women's Championship and the WVGCW Championship.
Sophitia Alexandra[]
Graduating shortly after losing the EDBW Women's Championship in controversial fashion, Sophitia Alexandra quickly picked up from where she left off, rising through the ranks to eventually become #1 Contender by defeating Jill Valentine in a #1 Contenders Match. In the battle of arguably the two strongest EDBW Women's Champions of all time, the Virtuous Holy Warrior ascended to become the new WVGCW Champion and join Lucina in being one of now two women to be both EDBW Women's Champion and WVGCW Champion.
