The Steel Cage is a very recognizable match type. The cage fits all four sides of the ring with the top remaining open. wrestlers fight each other until one gathers enough energy and time to successfully climb over the walls and touch both feet to the floor outside.

In some cases, the game AI can get the perfect opening and climb out of the cage early in a match, while other times can show the match dragging on, with the AI pulling each other off the walls over and over.

Other times, a big enough impact to the ring can cause the door to the cage to open, forcing the wrestlers to an exhaustive crawl to the exit.
