Dream Teamcast is a tag team consisting of Segata Sanshiro and Ryo Hazuki. Their team name is a portmanteau combining the phrase "Dream Team" with Dreamcast, the final console released by Sega, which both team members are associated with. __TOC__ ==In VGCW== The first two months of 2013 were tough times for Sega's representatives. Sonic the Hedgehog disappeared less than a week into the new year, and Segata Sanshiro had an unsucessful return to singles matches after being one of the last victims of Mr. L's rampage. Angry both at himself and the people who were making his life harder, Segata built up a rage so great that it created a portal, and from it emerged... Ryo Hazuki? While not the celebrated hero Sonic was, Segata gladly accepted any help in saving VGCW from the enemies of Sega, and had him set up to debut in that night's Hell In A Cell match. Unfortunately, a punch from Donkey Kong killed Ryo in his very first match. When the grieving Segata heard that Donkey Kong was to be rewarded for his crime with a title shot, his rage returned, strong enough to bring Ryo back from the grave. The two then teamed up, hoping that together they would gather the strength that they seemed to lack on their own, and prepare for the eventual return of Ryo's killer. They debuted in a fight against Raw Power on 2013-03-07. Despite heavy resistance, they eventually came out victorious. Their next match was on the 2013-03-12 show for a chance to earn a shot on at the Co-Op titles as they faced off against the Super Mario Bros. Teamcast controlled the majority of the match, but Mario's endurance wound up costing Ryo and Segata their shot in the end. Teamcast teamed up again against Wario Ware Inc., another Nintendo team, in which numerous double teams happened throughout this match. Ryo was able to break up a potential pin loop and speared Waluigi through the barricade (probably thinking he knew where some sailors were). They came up on the losing end yet again after Segata was pinned thanks to a double team move by the Wario Bros in one of the longest tag team matches in VGCW history. So far it looks as Nintendo actually CAN do what Sega can, but even better. During the 2K14 switch, Ryo left the company for the fighting arenas in Kowloon. This team is therefore presumably disbanded, with Segata focusing on his singles career. ==Tag Team Record== {| border="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" class="article-table article-table-selected" style="width: 500px;" |- ! scope="col"|Date ! scope="col"|Opponents ! scope="col"|Result ! scope="col"|Tag Record ! scope="col"|Notes |- |10-15-13 |The Elite Two |Win |2-2-0 |Tornado Tag |- |5-15-13 |Wario Ware Inc. |Loss |1-2-0 | |- |3-12-13 |Super Mario Bros. |Loss |1-1-0 |#1 Co-Op Contenders Match |- |3-7-13 |Raw Power |Win |1-0-0 | |} ==Gallery== <gallery> Spears.gif|Dream Teamcast goes Segagaga for spears </gallery>
